Hi momma…

If you’re like me. You’re trying. You’re a momma who is trying so hard

To be gentle

To be kind

To be patient

To be calm

To be playful

To be understanding

To be perfect

…but some days you feel like you’re failing

Because sometimes you’re a momma who is struggling. You’re a momma who is

Anxious

Overwhelmed

Lonely

Tired

Unshowered

Hungry

Sad

Unsupported

I get it, I’ve been there. I am there. If you’re like me, you’re a momma who gets

Reactive

Frustrated

Impatient

Angry

…but even on the not-so-great days, I have to remind myself, and you need to remind yourself, that no matter what, you’re

A committed momma

A loving momma

An apologetic momma

A forever-trying-to-be-better momma

You know some days are better than others. You hold yourself to such a high standard, you try to be perfect. But you know you’re imperfect. Everyday, though, you’re committed. You’re loving. And you’re always always trying. That’s what matters. Let’s give ourselves some credit and some grace. Motherhood is hard.

Lots of love from this momma that gets it
